Trained as a sculptor and artist, my specialty is fine craftsmanship and design, working with a client's
natural hair as a medium. I am careful to involve my clients in the creation of their designs. I love helping my clients
at any phase of their lives to make friends with their hair, so that they can use it to express themselves. My
goal is to help my clients feel comfortable in their own skin (hair!) as they grow and gather experiences, and comfortable
in the world at the same time.

use a technique of patient manipulation of specific points within the muscles, tendons and fascia to release scar tissue formed
though injury or overuse. By focusing on the cause of the constriction in the tissue, I'm able to facilitate full articulation
in movement. This method is especially effective in the treatment of sciatica, repetitive stress injuries, post-surgical
rehabilitation including joint replacement and back and shoulder surgeries, plantar fascitis, tennis elbow, carpal
tunnel and chronic back and neck problems.

I use a gentle, slow, point-focused technique with
the intention of identifying and releasing tissue constriction that impairs full use and can be the cause of pain or irritation.
This very site-specific work can result in an entire session being spent on a quite small are, for example, the neck or even
one side of the neck, or a small segment of the back. The nature of this bodywork can allow a deep investigation of
a problem area that can be revealing to a client, increasing body awareness and bringing a change to daily actions.
